Our Photo of the Month for August comes from current JET Elissa Jezl (Miyazaki, 2025-Present), who took this photo inside Mizonokuchi Cave in Kagoshima.

Looking out from the dark cave, you can see a shrine and friends waiting at the end of the tunnel.

"The cave was really dark inside, so next time I'll bring a proper flashlight!"
