May’s Ouchigohan Menu: Super Sando Special
Join USJETAA and Japan-America Society of Greater Philadelphia for the May edition of Ouchigohan!—a fun, family-friendly online Japanese home cooking class! On the menu this month is SUPER SANDO SPECIAL!
Japanese sandos are probably one of the most missed treats from life in Japan. From the fluffy egg sandōs at Lawson to crispy katsu variations, these flavorful sandwiches are a staple in homes and konbini across the country.
This month, we're celebrating the variety of sandos by making a picnic-ready bento featuring your choice of Pork, Chicken, or Tofu Katsu Sandō, Kyoto-style fluffy Dashi Tamago Sando, and a fruity dessert Sando with strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream. It's the perfect menu to welcome summer!
The online session will take place on Friday, May 16th at 6:00 PM EST.
Cost: $10 for USJETAA members with code JETAA
