Career Coaching Collective: Career Clarity Reset
The Career Coaching Collective is a 3-month program offered quarterly and designed to create a structured, supportive space for JETs to focus on career growth. Each cohort is led by a JET alum professional career coach who understands the uniqueness JET experience and helps translate that experience along with the rest of your career into your next professional step, whether you are early in your career or more established.
Each quarter, a cohort of JETs move through a themed workshop series in a supportive space that promotes reflection, accountability and personalized feedback under the guidance of a professional and certified JET alum career coach. At the end of each workshop series, registrants have the opportunity to meet with one of our partner recruiting companies.
For our third quarterly installment, the theme is Career Clarity Reset: Start Where you Are, led by JET alum Emily Frank (Hokkaido, 1993-1996).
Who you are matters in your career path and the only one who gets to define your success is you. This workshop series will be especially helpful for recently returned JETs, although Emily has extensive experience working with JETs in all phases of their career journey.
You will be guided through self-exploration through the workshops and have space for one-on-one conversations with Emily and your fellow JET alums during the touchpoints. Workshops are 90 minutes long and touchpoints are 60 minutes. In total, you'll have 6 sessions with Emily and fellow JETs to help you gain better clarity of what you want next and how to get there.
